An Interview with Nick Antosca on The Believer Logger

Excerpt: “THE BELIEVER: How do you feel about people referring to your stories as “sexy”? Do you agree? NICK ANTOSCA: I feel good about it, and I do agree. I’m glad people see some of the stories that way. Pif Magazine Interview with Nick Antosca

Excerpt: “DA: Being laid off in your case turned out to be a great opportunity. NA: I decided it was now or never in terms of becoming a writer.  I could only see one way of making a living writing, and that was as a TV writer.  I decided I should write both prose fiction and screenplays.  There was a period of six or seven months of unemployment in New York after I was laid off, and during that time I wrote pretty feverishly.  Some of the short stories in The Girlfriend Game were from that time, too.” For the full interview, click here:...

Nick Antosca & Amelia Gray: The TNB Double Interview

Excerpt: “NICK ANTOSCA:  Okay, normally they do self-interviews here, where the author just interviews him- or herself.  But I didn’t want to do that, so in this case two authors are going to interview each other. We both have books out.  Mine is The Girlfriend Game, a collection of stories which came out last month.  Yours is Threats, a novel which came out last year and was nominated for the PEN/Faulkner.  We both live in Los Angeles.  We both moved here in the last few years.” For the full interview, click here:...
